Best techniques on military bodywork:
- meticulous preparation of metal part which must be already “smooth” without use of large thicknesses of funds and stuccos
- use of resins to repair original body parts where welding would be harmful
- welding pieces of plate where possible and necessary
- coating with excellent quality paint in minumum thicknesses
Through these procedures iron and its works become protagonist, as required by military collecting, unlike the result required on civil vehicles where line sinuosity and paint brilliance are really important.
